The DFA100 produces foam by software-controlled sparging or stirring. For other foaming methods, the short prism column CY4573 is used for structure analyses of foam manually produced inside the column or filled in afterwards. Like the standard prism column CY4572, the short prism column CY4573 has a reference grid in order to measure bubble size in absolute dimensions with the Foam Structure Module – FSM.
